BUYING CONDITIONS

 

ORDERING SHELLS

When ordering shells from my lists please quote:

• I will write back confirming the shells of that species available, prices and cost of postage. Nothing will be sent without written confirmation by the customer of the acceptance of the shells I have available and the cost and postage method.
• All prices are quoted in US$ as this currency is universal. I realise Australian collectors may be disappointed in the quoting US$ but I can not quote in every nations currency. For this I apologise.
• All postage and handling charges will be paid by the purchaser.
• Please request method of postage.
• Postage delays and freight costs vary of course depending on the postage method chosen: air mail - approximately one week, surface - 4 to 6 weeks.

PAYMENT METHOD

• I accept credit card payments through Paypal with a 4% fee payable on purchases to cover paypals costs.
• Direct deposit into my bank account for overseas purchasers (4% added to the total, to cover bank charges) and money orders, personal or bank cheques within Australia.
• Cash payments can be made if sent by registered post at the purchasers risk.
• All other methods of payment will be accepted if the purchaser accepts any costs incurred in the processing and the delay for clearance of funds.
• Payment by personal and bank cheques in Australia will require the clearing of funds before the posting of purchases.

REFUNDS & CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE

• Please note: all my shells come with a full money back guarantee if the shells are returned within 14 days in original condition.
• Refunds will only be given when the returned shells have been received and I am satisfied they are in their original condition.
• I will fully describe the quality of each shell, and the purchaser will accept the shells so described, prior to posting.
• The purchaser accepts full responsibility for the shells once they have been posted.
• The purchaser agrees to notify INDO/PACIFIC SEASHELLS immediately the order arrives and within 7 days if there is a problem with the shells.
